Installing MTS Mblaze in Ubuntu.

When the thoughts of going back to Ubuntu after using Windows 7 for seven months first came to me , I was not that excited. As my only source of going on line, MBlaze, was not that compatible with Ubuntu. Yes, MTS Claims that it is in its user guide that it ships with the device. But then all the steps,, the downloading was a bit confusing.

But then I took the step, hesitant, just like we are when we have to go talk to some one who we broke up with. But then , I did it, after all she was my love. :)

At first it was bit irritating as Ubuntu was not even recognizing my mobile as modem when connected through bluetooth. I was swearing at myself to have jumped from Windows, which has such a large user base, not all of them can be fools.

Then , a moment of pure genius, I connected the MTS [it gets detected, but it will not connect], edited the user settings. Entered the username and password. Saved. Disconnected and reconnected. VOILA!. I am online.

No need to install any cross platform, nothing. Just set the username and password. It worked for me.

In case you are wondering what the username and password are, here it goes.

Username : internet@internet.mtsindia.in

Password: MTS
